Inside The Dream
My practice explores the spaces between dreaming and waking, memory and presence, the seen and the unseen. Drawing from recurring dreams and the emotional landscapes they leave behind, I create layered mirrored works and sculptural forms that preserve experiences too fleeting to exist anywhere else.
Each piece begins as a vision before becoming a physical object. Working with resin, ink, pigments, reflective surfaces, and hand-carved forms, I build every work through an intuitive process of layering. Resin becomes a means of suspending time, mirrors become thresholds, and light becomes an active participant in the work, revealing new depths as the viewer moves through space. Rather than depicting dreams, I seek to translate their emotional residue into physical form.
I am interested in preservation. Many of my works hold moments that would otherwise disappear: the final bloom of a flower, the shimmer of water, the quiet space between sleeping and waking, or the feeling of belonging to a place that exists only in memory. By preserving these fragments beneath layers of resin and reflection, I create objects that exist in a liminal space, suspended between permanence and impermanence.
Each work is entirely one of a kind. Together they form an evolving body of work that invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and encounter something that feels simultaneously familiar and impossible to name.
