Mirrored Portals

The Mirrored Portals are multi-layered works built to shift with light, movement, and time. Constructed through five to eight individual layers, each piece is assembled gradually, allowing depth to form in stages rather than all at once. Pigment, reflection, and transparency interact across the surface, creating compositions that never resolve into a single fixed image.

These portals change depending on where you stand. From every angle, new details surface—hidden forms, reflected fragments, subtle shifts in color and light. The work is never fully visible in one glance. Instead, it reveals itself slowly, asking the viewer to move, to pause, to look again.

Reflection is not used as decoration, but as a threshold. The mirrored surfaces fold the surrounding environment into the piece, blending the viewer, the space, and the artwork into one evolving experience. As light changes throughout the day, the portal transforms, offering a different presence each time it is encountered.
