Iris emerged from the memory of a dream filled with rugged landscapes, towering rock formations, and places untouched by the familiar world. Hand carved from MDF, its bold silhouette echoes the dramatic contours of those imagined terrains, transforming a fleeting dreamscape into a sculptural form that feels both ancient and alive.
 
Deep blue alcohol inks flow across the carved surface, while resin enriches the work with depth and luminosity, allowing light to reveal subtle shifts in color and texture. The organic edges and layered finish create a sense of movement, as though the piece has been shaped over time by wind, water, and memory rather than by hand alone.
 
Named in honor of the goddess Iris, the work embodies strength, resilience, and the quiet mystery of the unknown. Iris invites viewers to stand at the threshold of an unexplored landscape, embracing the wonder that comes from venturing beyond certainty and into places that exist only in dreams.
